How can you get the pink color out of pork when cook it?

There is no pink color in properly cooked pork. The pink color in uncooked or undercooked pork is caused by the presence of myoglobin, a protein that stores oxygen in muscle tissue. When pork is cooked, the myoglobin denatures and turns brown. If pork is still pink after cooking, it is undercooked and should not be consumed.
