What is a recipe for crockpot pulled pork?

### Ingredients

- 3-4 pound pork shoulder (also called pork butt or Boston butt)

- 1 tablespoon chili powder

- 1 tablespoon ground cumin

- 1 tablespoon paprika

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

- 1/4 cup ketchup

- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1/4 cup water

Instructions

1. Trim any excess fat from the pork shoulder.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.

4. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.

5. In a medium bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, and water.

6. Pour the liquid mixture over the pork shoulder.

7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is very tender and can be easily shredded.

8. Remove the pork shoulder from the slow cooker and let it cool slightly.

Tips
