What BBQ recipe is best for ribs?
There are many delicious BBQ rib recipes, but one of the most popular is the 3-2-1 method. Here is a rib recipe that follows this method:
Ingredients:
* 1 rack of pork ribs
* 1 tablespoon of salt
* 1 teaspoon of black pepper
* 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
* 1 tablespoon of onion powder
* 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
* 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
* 1/2 cup of brown sugar
* 1/2 cup of ketchup
* 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
* 1/4 cup of honey
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar.
3. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs.
4. Place the ribs in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
5. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
6. After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
7. In a small saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
8. Brush the ribs with the sauce.
9. Place the ribs back in the oven and bake for 2 hours, basting the ribs with the sauce every 30 minutes.
10. After 2 hours, the ribs should be cooked through and the meat should be tender and fall off the bone.
