How to Bake a Single Pork Chop (6 Steps)
Pork is the No. 1 meat eaten by people worldwide reports the United States Department of Agriculture. The cuts of pork include the shoulder, side and loin. The pork chop comes from the loin and you can easily bake a single pork chop in the oven with just a few ingredients.
Things You'll Need
- 1 pork chop (1 lb.)
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Spoon
- Basting brush
- Baking pan
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Pour 1 tbsp. of soy sauce into a bowl. Add 2 tbsp. olive oil. Mix thoroughly with a spoon.

Place the pork chop in a baking dish. Brush the top of the pork chop with the olive oil and soy sauce mixture, using a basting brush. This will keep your pork chop moist and add flavor.

Put the pork chop into the oven and cook it for 10 minutes.

Take the pork chop out of the oven and turn it over. Baste the top of the pork chop with the soy sauce and olive oil.

Place the pork chop in the oven again and cook for another 10 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check if the chop is done. The USDA states the minimum safe internal temperature is 145 degrees.
