How long can raw rib meat stay fresh at room temperature?
Raw rib meat should not be left at room temperature for any amount of time. Bacteria can multiply rapidly at room temperature and contaminated meat can cause foodborne illness. Rib meat should be refrigerated within 2 hours of purchase and cooked within 2-3 days.
