What is the name for a British meatball?
A British meatball does not have a unique name. Meatballs in British cuisine can be referred to simply as meatballs or by the name of the main ingredient used, such as pork meatballs or beef meatballs. They can also be called faggots, which are a type of meatball made with offal and minced pork, or Scotch eggs, which consist of a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and coated with breadcrumbs.
