How to BBQ the best cedar wrapped chicken (7 Steps)
Cedar wraps are a great way of adding that wood flavor to your chicken
Things You'll Need
- Gourmet Cedar Wraps
- Boneless chicken breast
- Barbecue
- Tooth picks or twine
Instructions

Soak the cedar wraps in warm water over night or for a few hours until pliable.
You'll know if they're not ready when they crack and break into little pieces.

Cut the chicken into pieces small enough so that the wrap can completely cover the chicken.

Use wither kitchen twine or a tooth pick to secure the wraps around the meat.

If you are using a charcoal grill you will need to setup the coals for indirect cooking. Simply put a rectangular drip pan in the center and place the coals around it.
With a gas grill simply preheat the grill and leave the center burner off while cooking. -
BBQ the wrapped chicken over indirect heat until meat is cooked through.

Remove the wraps from the grill and allow to cool.

Cut or break away the cedar wrapping from the meat and serve.
