How do you put lava rocks in a gas grill?
1. Turn off the gas and let the grill cool completely. This is an important safety precaution to avoid gas leaks or burns.
2.Remove the grill grate and the heat shield. This will give you access to the lava rocks.
3.Spread a layer of lava rocks on the bottom of the grill. The lava rocks should be about 1-2 inches thick.
4. Replace the heat shield and the grill grate.
5. Turn on the gas and ignite the grill. The lava rocks will heat up and begin to emit heat.
6. Preheat the grill for 10-15 minutes before cooking. This will help to ensure that the lava rocks are evenly heated and that your food cooks evenly.
