When were aluminum cooking pots first made?
The first aluminum cooking pots were made in the 1890s. Aluminum was first isolated in 1825 by the Danish chemist Hans Christian Ørsted. However, it was not until the late 1880s that the American inventor Charles Martin Hall developed a way to produce aluminum cheaply. This made it possible to use aluminum for a variety of purposes, including making cooking pots.
