How many pounds of chicken needed to feed 10 people?
A good rule of thumb is to plan for 1/2 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast per person.
So for 10 people, you would need 5 pounds of chicken.
However, this can vary depending on:
* Appetite: If your guests are big eaters, you might want to go with 3/4 pound per person.
* Other food: If you're serving other main courses, you can reduce the chicken amount.
* Chicken cuts: Chicken thighs or drumsticks will yield more meat per pound than breasts.
It's always better to have a little extra than to run out, so you can adjust accordingly!
