How long does it take for chickens to lay after being moved?
It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for chickens to start laying eggs again after being moved. Here are some tips to help encourage your chickens to start laying sooner:
- Provide them with a comfortable, stress-free environment. This includes a draft-free coop, fresh water and food, and plenty of space to roam.
- Make sure they are getting enough nutrients. A good quality chicken feed will provide them with the essential vitamins and minerals they need to produce eggs.
- Give them some time to adjust. Moving to a new environment can be stressful for chickens, and it may take them a few days to settle in. Once they are feeling more comfortable, they should start laying eggs again.
If you are still concerned about your chickens not laying eggs, you should contact a veterinarian or poultry expert.
