Ingredients

* 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces

* 1/4 cup cornstarch

* 1/4 cup soy sauce

* 1/4 cup rice vinegar

* 1/4 cup brown sugar

* 1 tablespoon minced garlic

* 1 tablespoon minced ginger

* 1 teaspoon sesame oil

* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

* 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cornstarch, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Toss to coat.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken mixture and cook, stirring frequently, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.

3. Stir in the green onions and serve immediately.

Tips

* To make the chicken even more flavorful, marinate it in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
