What is jolly phonics night?
Jolly Phonics Night is an event hosted by schools that follow the Jolly Phonics teaching method, which is a synthetic phonics program designed to teach children how to read and write. The event provides an opportunity for parents, teachers, and children to come together to learn more about the program and how it can be used at home and in the classroom.
During Jolly Phonics Night, parents will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and learn about the Jolly Phonics program. Teachers will explain the different sounds that are taught in the program, and how these sounds are used to build words. Parents will also have the opportunity to practice the Jolly Phonics sounds with their children.
In addition to learning about the program, parents will also have the opportunity to purchase Jolly Phonics materials, such as books, games, and flashcards. These materials can be used at home to help children practice the Jolly Phonics sounds.
Jolly Phonics Night is a fun and educational event that provides parents with an opportunity to learn more about the Jolly Phonics program and how it can help their children learn to read and write.
