How did Prophet Muhammad saw celebrate Eid?

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the month after Ramadan, and Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the month of Hajj pilgrimage.

Eid-ul-Fitr:

- Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would perform the Eid prayer in the morning and then deliver a sermon.

- He would encourage people to give charity and to be kind to one another.

-After the prayer, he would visit his relatives and friends and exchange gifts.

-He would also spend time with his family and enjoy a festive meal.

Eid-ul-Adha:

- Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would perform the Eid prayer in the morning and then slaughter a sacrificial animal.

- He would distribute the meat to the poor and needy.

- After the prayer, he would visit his relatives and friends and exchange gifts.

-He would also spend time with his family and enjoy a festive meal.

In general, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) celebrated Eid with joy and happiness but without extravagance.
