What is a good recipe to use gougole in?
Gougères
Ingredients:
* 1 cup water
* 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 4 eggs
* 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, or chives)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a medium saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil over medium heat.
3. Reduce heat to low and add flour all at once, stirring vigorously until mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the saucepan.
4. Remove saucepan from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
5. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Add cooled dough mixture and beat until smooth.
6. Stir in cheeses, black pepper, and herbs.
7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until gougeres are puffed and golden brown.
9. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
