What the recipe for gashaato?

Ingredients

* 2 lbs stew beef cut into 1-inch pieces

* 2 lbs goat meat cut into 1-inch pieces

* 1 cup Ethiopian berbere spice

* 1/4 cup minced garlic

* 1/4 cup minced ginger

* 2 tablespoons ground cumin

* 2 teaspoons ground coriander

* 1 teaspoon salt

* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

* 1/4 cup olive oil

* 2 cups water

* 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the beef, goat meat, berbere spice, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the meat.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the meat mixture and cook until browned on all sides.

3. Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1-2 hours or until the meat is cooked through.

4. Stir in the cilantro and serve.
