How to make light homemade mayonnaise

Here's a simple recipe to make light mayonnaise that not only tastes great but it is also healthy and won't break your diet.

Things You'll Need

  • egg
  • salt
  • paprika - 1 tb spoon
  • lemon juice - 1 tb spoon
  • skim milk or 1%
  • oil - 1 tb spoon
  • mustard

Instructions

  1. placed in a bowl the egg, salt, paprika and mustard.

  2. put that in bain-marie (double-boiler) and beat while gradually incorporating the lemon and milk.

  3. continue beating until the sauce is very thick.

  4. remove from double-boiler and mix with oil, while beating continuously.

  5. pack it in a jar, cover it and store in the refrigerator.
    serving size: 1 tablespoon type dessert.
