Is 4X sugar the same as regular sugar?
4X sugar and regular sugar (table sugar, also known as sucrose) are both sweeteners commonly used in food and beverages. However, they differ in their composition and properties:
1. Composition: Regular sugar is composed of sucrose, which is a disaccharide consisting of one molecule of glucose bonded to one molecule of fructose. Regular sugar, on the other hand, consists of larger granules or crystals and may require more mixing or stirring to dissolve completely.
3. Sweetness: Generally, regular sugar and 4X sugar are considered to have similar levels of sweetness. However, the perceived sweetness may vary based on individual preferences and the specific applications in which they are used.
