Can norforms be used to clear yeast infection?

Norforms should not be used for yeast infections.

Norforms are a brand of antibacterial suppositories that contain the active ingredient __nonoxynol-9__. This ingredient works by damaging the cell membranes of bacteria, causing them to die. Norforms are effective in treating bacterial vaginosis (BV) and trichomoniasis, which are two types of vaginal infections caused by bacteria.

Yeast infections, on the other hand, are caused by fungi, not bacteria. Norforms will not be effective in treating a yeast infection and may, in fact, make it worse.

If you are experiencing symptoms of a yeast infection, such as itching, burning, or a thick, white vaginal discharge, you should visit a doctor or other health care provider for diagnosis and treatment.
