What happened in Muhammads and khadijas marriage?
Muhammad and Khadija were married in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, around the year 595 CE. Khadija was a successful businesswoman who was well-respected in her community. She was about 15 years older than Muhammad, and she had been married twice before. Muhammad, on the other hand, was a young man from a poor family.
Despite the differences in their age and social status, Muhammad and Khadija fell in love and were happily married for 25 years. They had six children together, two sons and four daughters. Khadija was a devoted wife and a loyal supporter of Muhammad's religious and political activities. She was also the first person to believe in his prophethood.
Khadija died in Mecca in the year 619 CE, at the age of 65. Muhammad was devastated by her death, and he never forgot her. He often spoke of her with great love and respect, and he said that she was the best woman who had ever lived.
After Khadija's death, Muhammad married several other women. However, he never forgot his first wife, and he always referred to her as "the mother of the believers." Khadija's marriage to Muhammad was a remarkable one, and it played an important role in the development of Islam.
