How to Make a Seven and Seven (9 Steps)
With an easy-to-remember name that's even easy to say when you're a bit tipsy, 7 and 7 is the go-to cocktail for whiskey neophytes. Although the drink doesn't have much mystique, its liquor -- Seagram's 7 Crown -- has an interesting history. Originally distilled by Seagram Company Ltd., Seagram's 7 was a true Canadian whiskey. But things changed when its parent company dissolved. Indiana-based Lawrenceburg Distillers, Inc. has bottled it since 2010, after London-based Diageo purchased the brand. Made with Canadian whiskey, bottled in America and owned by a British company, you can truly say 7 and 7 is a world drink.
