Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup Splenda 1 cup white corn syrup 2/3 cup water 2-quart pan Candy molds Spray vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup of Splenda, 1 cup of white corn syrup and 2/3 cup of water. Place over low heat and stir until the Splenda has dissolved completely.

  2. Once dissolved, raise to medium heat and cover. After 2 to 3 minutes, the added heat will wash down sugar crystals from the sides of the pan.

  3. Once the sides are clear, cook without stirring until the mixture reaches the hard-candy stage (300 degrees on your candy thermometer).

  4. Take the candy off the stove and add 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon or peppermint oil for taste. Also add a few drops of food coloring of your choice for presentation.

  5. Brush candy molds with light oil and pour the candy mix into prepared molds. Cool and remove from the molds. Wrap in plastic and store in a cool, dry place.
