How do you make mac and cheese cups with no microwave?

Ingredients

- 1 cup of dry elbow macaroni, uncooked

- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour

- 1 cup of milk

- 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese

- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 teaspoon of salt

- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. In a pot of boiling water, cook the macaroni according to the package directions until al dente.

3. Drain the macaroni, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking water.

4. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

5. Whisk in the flour until a smooth paste forms.

6. Slowly whisk in the milk and bring to a simmer.

7. Stir in the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper until combined.

8. Add the cooked macaroni and reserved cooking water and stir until well combined.

9. Spoon the macaroni and cheese mixture into 6 individual oven-safe ramekins or custard cups.

10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and bubbly.

11. Serve hot.
