How do you clean blue tarnish from stainless steel cutlery?
To remove blue tarnish from stainless steel cutlery, you will need:
- Baking soda
- Water
- A soft cloth
- A lemon (optional)
Instructions
1. Make a paste by mixing baking soda and water. The paste should be thick enough to stay on the cutlery.
2. Use a soft cloth to rub the paste onto the cutlery in a circular motion.
3. Rinse the cutlery with water and dry it with a clean cloth.
4. If there are any stubborn stains, you can try rubbing the cutlery with a lemon wedge.
5. Rinse the cutlery again and dry it. Your stainless steel cutlery should now be free of the blue tarnish.
Additional Tips:
- To prevent blue tarnish from forming in the future, hand-dry your stainless steel cutlery after washing it.
- Store your stainless steel cutlery in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners on your stainless steel cutlery.
