How do you make a guava ointment?
To make a guava ointment, you will need the following ingredients:
* 1 cup fresh guava leaves, finely chopped
* 1/2 cup almond oil
* 1/4 cup beeswax, grated
* 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
* Essential oils of your choice, such as lavender or chamomile (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the guava leaves, almond oil, and beeswax.
2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the beeswax has melted and the mixture has thickened.
4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
5. Add the vitamin E oil and essential oils, if desired.
6. Stir the mixture until it is well combined.
7. Pour the mixture into a clean, airtight jar.
8. Let the ointment cool completely before using.
To use the guava ointment, apply a thin layer to the affected area as needed.
*Note:* Guava ointment can be stored at room temperature for up to 6 months.
