Can you use vegetable oil instead of castor to induce labor?
Do not ingest vegetable oil or any other substance to intentionally induce labor. Castor oil and other laxatives may lead to abdominal discomfort with nausea or diarrhea without bringing on contractions. Only methods medically recommended by your healthcare practitioner are considered safe. Consult them before trying any method for inducing labor.
