How do you clean your aquifer?
Aquifers cannot be cleaned in the same way as one would clean a surface like a table or floor. Aquifers are underground layers of water-bearing rock or sediment, and they are constantly being replenished by rainwater and other sources of water.
Over time, aquifers can become contaminated with pollutants, such as chemicals from fertilizers and pesticides, or bacteria and viruses from sewage. When this happens, the water in the aquifer can become unsafe to drink or use for other purposes.
There are a few ways to clean an aquifer, but they are all complex and expensive. One way is to pump out the contaminated water and then treat it to remove the pollutants. Another way is to inject clean water into the aquifer and then pump out the contaminated water.
Aquifer cleanup can be a long and difficult process, and it is not always possible to completely restore the aquifer to its original condition.
