How to Cook Catfish Nuggets (3 Steps)
Catfish nuggets contain 5 g of protein per serving and are low in saturated fats. Catfish nuggets are also good for diabetics because they are low in sugar. A baked version of this popular fish will satisfy the palate and the waistline.
Things You'll Need
- 1 lb. catfish fillets
- 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Baking tray

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Beat the eggs with salt and pepper and set them aside. Put 1 cup flour in a bowl and set aside. Put 1 cup breadcrumbs in a different bowl and set aside.

Cut the catfish fillet into 2-inch squares. Roll the catfish in flour, dip in egg and then roll in the bread crumbs.

Lay the catfish nuggets on a baking tray. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes, flip, and then bake for another 5 minutes.
