Ingredients
* 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
* 1/4 cup bacon grease or olive oil
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
* 1/4 cup chopped celery
* 1 teaspoon minced garlic
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
* 1 cup chicken broth or water
* 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
