How to Bake Chia Eggs (4 Steps)
If you have an egg allergy or run out of eggs when baking, try using chia eggs. Chia eggs are a mixture of water and ground chia seeds that form a gel. The gel acts as a flavorless binder, which you can bake the same way an egg in your favorite bread, cake and muffin recipes. Chia seeds have many nutritional benefits with a high concentration of antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. Adding chia eggs to your baked goods is an excellent way to give them a healthy boost.
