How to Store a Rum Cake
Despite the alcohol in the ingredients, nobody becomes intoxicated by eating a moist, delicious rum cake because all of the alcohol is burned off during the baking process. Rum cakes usually contain fruits and nuts and are a traditional Caribbean dessert enjoyed during holidays and special religious events, including christenings.
