How does a boiled egg look in the inside?

The inside of a boiled egg depends on how long it's been cooked:

Soft-boiled:

* Yolk: A bright yellow, runny center with a slightly firm ring around the outside.

* White: Tender and translucent, with a slightly gelatinous texture.

Medium-boiled:

* Yolk: Yellow and firm, but still slightly soft in the center.

* White: White and opaque, firmer than in a soft-boiled egg.

Hard-boiled:

* Yolk: Completely solid and firm, with a slightly darker yellow color.

* White: Hard and rubbery, with a uniform white color.

Overcooked:

* Yolk: Can become dry and crumbly, sometimes turning a grayish-green color due to the iron in the yolk reacting with sulfur in the egg white.

* White: Can become rubbery and hard to chew.

No matter how you like your eggs boiled, they're a delicious and nutritious way to start your day!
