When you start feeding baby cereal should give your extra water to drink?
It is not necessary or recommended to give your baby extra water when you start feeding them cereal. Breast milk or formula provides all the hydration your baby needs during the first six months of life. When you start introducing solid foods, including cereals, your baby will still get most of their fluids from breast milk or formula. Water can be offered to your baby once they have started eating a variety of solid foods, typically around 6 months of age, but it is not essential at mealtimes.
