Ceramic Bread Basket Heating Instructions (3 Steps)
There's no better accompaniment to a meal than warm bread or rolls. Ceramic bread warmers will keep bread warm on a ceramic stone that fits within a bread basket. Place warmed bread such as a whole loaf, slices, buns, biscuits, croissants or muffins on the stone to keep them warm throughout your meal. A ceramic bread basket adds to the presentation of bread, along with a linen cloth that is tucked into the basket, covering the stone and bread to lock in warmth.
Things You'll Need
- Ceramic bread warming stone
- Bread of your choice
- Oven mitts
- Linen
- Butter (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F. Place the ceramic stone in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove the stone from the oven using oven mitts to protect your hands.
-
Line the bread basket with a clean linen cloth. Place the stone on top of the cloth. Put the bread on the stone.
-
Place butter in a small bowl and put the bowl on the stone to soften the butter, if desired. Cover the bread and butter with the linen to trap the heat and keep the bread warm.
