What plants produce vegetable rennet?

There are no plants that produce vegetable rennet. Rennet is an enzyme that is extracted from the stomachs of young mammals, usually calves or lambs, and is used in the production of cheese. There are some plant-based alternatives to rennet, such as microbial rennet and vegetable-based rennet substitutes, which are produced using fermentation processes. These alternatives can be used to produce cheese without the use of animal rennet.
