How do you cook spareribs with black bean sauce?
Ingredients
* 2 pounds pork spareribs, cut into individual ribs
* 1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
* 1 (15 ounce) can black bean sauce
* 1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the spareribs, cooking wine, soy sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch. Stir to coat the ribs.
2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ribs and cook until browned on all sides.
3. Add the onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the black bean sauce and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the ribs are cooked through.
5. Serve over rice.
