Easy Scalloped Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, melted butter, flour, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese.
4. Pour the milk mixture over the potatoes and stir to combine.
5. Pour the potato mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened.
7. Garnish with parsley leaves, if desired.
Tips:
- To make sure the potatoes are thinly sliced, use a mandoline slicer.
- If you don't have a mandoline slicer, you can also use a sharp knife to thinly slice the potatoes. Just be careful not to cut yourself!
- You can use any type of potatoes for this recipe, but russet potatoes are the best choice because they hold their shape well.
- If you want to make the scalloped potatoes ahead of time, you can cook them according to the recipe and then let them cool completely. Store the scalloped potatoes in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
