What was Lucy Maud favourite food?
Lucy Maud Montgomery's favourite food was cake, especially chocolate cake. She often wrote about her love of cake in her novels and short stories. In Anne of Green Gables, Anne Shirley enjoys eating cake with Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. In Emily of New Moon, Emily Byrd Starr and her friends bake a chocolate cake for their teacher. Montgomery's love of cake is also reflected in her poetry. In "The Cake", she writes:
