Can you take frozen beef to Mexico?

It is generally not allowed to take frozen beef into Mexico. Under regulations by the Mexican authorities, the only meat products allowed to be imported are those that have undergone a complete process of industrialization and have been subject to a heat treatment ensuring the destruction of foot-and-mouth disease virus and other possible pathogens. This includes items like canned meat, preserved meats, and cured meats, among others. Fresh or frozen meat is typically not permitted due to the risk of introducing animal diseases.
