How to Make Wet Puerto Rican Adobo (9 Steps)
This is a wonderful recipe for adobo. Adobo adds a heavenly flavor to meats.
Things You'll Need
- ten garlic cloves
- teaspoon of oregano
- half teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 3/3 tspn of coarse fresh black pepper
- mortar and pestle
Instructions

Put the ten garlic cloves into the mortar

Add the half teaspoon of salt

Add the teaspoon of oregano ( fresh or dried)

Add the 1/3 teaspoon of the coarse black pepper

Using the mortar and the pestle start pounding all of the ingredients together

Make sure not to pound to hard so that the garlic and the black pepper do not fly every where

Keep pounding until most of the garlic and other ingredients are incorporated

Add the full tablespoon of the red wine vinegar and pound altogether for a few more seconds until all of the ingredients are incorporated

Put into meats by putting incisions into the meat all over. Take some of the adobe mixture with spoon and put into the holes of the meat. cook your meat accordingly and enjoy this magical seasoning and mystical aroma.
