What does a Black Widow eat?

Black widows are carnivorous, which means they eat other animals. Their diet consists mainly of:

* Insects: This includes flies, beetles, grasshoppers, crickets, and other small invertebrates.

* Other spiders: Black widows will sometimes prey on other spiders, even those larger than themselves.

* Small vertebrates: Occasionally, a black widow might catch and eat a small lizard, snake, or even a small bird or mouse.

They are opportunistic hunters and will eat whatever they can catch, but their primary food source is insects.

Black widows use a venomous bite to paralyze their prey before consuming them. They are known for their strong webs which they use to capture their prey.
