How do you get maple syrup stain out of jeans?
To remove a maple syrup stain from jeans, follow these steps:
1. Blot up the stain as soon as possible. Don't rub it, as this can spread the stain and make it more difficult to remove.
2. Rinse the stain with cold water. Hold the stained area under a stream of cold water for several minutes.
3. Apply a stain remover. Apply a stain remover to the stain and let it sit for the recommended amount of time.
4. Wash the jeans in the hottest water recommended for the fabric. Add the appropriate amount of detergent and wash the jeans on the normal cycle.
5. Check the stain to make sure it is gone. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 2-4.
6. Dry the jeans. Dry the jeans on the lowest heat setting possible.
Additional tips:
- If you don't have a stain remover on hand, you can try using a mild dishwashing liquid.
- If the jeans are light-colored, you can try using a bleach solution. However, be sure to test the bleach solution on a small area of the jeans before using it on the entire garment.
- If the stain is old or set-in, you may need to take the jeans to a dry cleaner.
