How long will a pre-cook turkey last in the freezer before it goes bad?
A pre-cooked turkey can safely be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Here are some tips for freezing a pre-cooked turkey:
* Wrap tightly: Use freezer-safe wrap or aluminum foil to tightly wrap the turkey. This prevents freezer burn.
* Label and date: Label the turkey with the date you froze it.
* Store in a freezer bag: For added protection, you can place the wrapped turkey in a freezer-safe bag.
* Freeze flat: If possible, freeze the turkey flat to save space in your freezer.
Important Note: After thawing, a pre-cooked turkey should be refrigerated and used within 3-4 days.
