When is the turkey done?

There are multiple ways to tell if a turkey is done cooking, including:

- Meat Thermometer: Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the turkey's thigh without touching bone. The turkey is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

- Leg Test: Gently move the turkey's leg at the joint. If the leg moves easily and the thigh joint appears to be separated, the turkey is likely done.

- Breast Test: Pierce the thickest part of the turkey's breast with a fork or skewer. If the juices run clear and there's no pink, the breast is done.

- Color Check: The turkey's skin should be golden brown and the juices should run clear.
