When was sushi founded where and when?
Sushi was invented in the 5th century BC in Southeast Asia. It was originally a way to preserve fish by fermenting it in rice. The fermented fish was then eaten with the rice. Sushi was introduced to Japan in the 1800s and quickly became a popular dish.
