How small is the smallest jellyfish?
The smallest jellyfish is the "Irukanji jellyfish" (Carukia barnesi), found off the coast of Australia. It is about the size of a human thumbnail, with a bell diameter of about 12 mm (0.5 inches) and tentacles up to 1 meter (3 feet) long.
