What sound does a crab make?

Crabs don't actually make much noise. They don't have vocal cords or any other specialized sound-making structures.

Here are the sounds you might hear from a crab:

* Clicking: Some crabs use their claws to make clicking noises, likely as a way to communicate or threaten other crabs.

* Hissing: When threatened, some crabs might hiss through their mouthparts.

* Scrambling: The sound of crabs scrambling across rocks or sand can be quite noticeable.

* Bubbles: When crabs are underwater, they might create bubbles with their gills.

So, while crabs don't "talk" in the way humans do, they can still produce sounds.
