Is krill the same as shrimp?

Krill and shrimp are both small crustaceans, but they are not the same. Krill are small, planktonic crustaceans that live in the ocean. They are typically less than 2 inches long and have a long, thin body with a segmented carapace. Shrimp, on the other hand, are larger crustaceans that live on the ocean floor. They can be up to 12 inches long and have a more robust body with a hard exoskeleton. Krill are also filter feeders, while shrimp are scavengers and predators.
