How long can chicken broth set out after opening?
Chicken broth can be safely left out at room temperature for up to 2 hours. After 2 hours, it should be discarded or refrigerated. To extend its shelf life, chicken broth can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days, or frozen for up to 2-3 months. When reheating chicken broth, be sure to bring it to a full boil before consuming.
