Will eating pork rinds cause trichinosis?
Trichinosis is caused by eating raw or undercooked pork containing the trichinella parasite.
Pork rinds are made from pork skin and are usually fried, which kills any parasites that may be present. Therefore, eating pork rinds does not pose a risk of trichinosis.
